The Wind Turned a Tail into a Cloud

The wind came running across the grass,
sending the little flowers this way and that.

The orange-and-white cat looked back,
and found its tail had fluffed up,
like a cloud that had fallen from the sky.

Suddenly, the cat did not quite want to move.

What if, the moment it stood up,
this little cloud disappeared?

So the cat sat quietly,
letting the wind blow and the little flowers sway.

That afternoon, the cat went nowhere,
yet quietly kept a little piece of the sky.
